A seasoned professional and one of Facet Advisors’ founders, Darren leads the international and cross border taxation division. His international tax, regulatory and compliance experience is unparalleled as is his ability to see the big picture while maintaining strong personal ties to his clients.

Darren has hands-on expertise in providing tax solutions and tax compliance services for individuals and corporations with cross-border activities between Canada and the U.S. He also provides strategic advice and financial due diligence for the purchase and sale of businesses. He has provided reorganization and turnaround services, loss utilization planning, amalgamations and remuneration planning, and preservation of personal assets. He also develops effective tax structures for partnership agreements.

Darren is a registered Estate and Trust Planner, a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant in British Columbia, and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. A big supporter of charitable works, Darren volunteered on the Campaign Executive Committee for the Canuck Place Hospice in Abbotsford and was previously a Board Member for the Peach Arch Hospital and Canuck Place Children Hospice.
